Aliens: Separation War is a fan fiction novel published in 2024, written and published by Alexkiller345. The story is set in the early 22nd century, 15 years after the events of Alien: Covenant, when human nations and colonies demanding independence revolt against the colonising human star federations, and their political and economic discontent and campaigning escalates into armed conflict and a takeover of the colonies. The war has taken place because of the mistreatment and oppressive capitalist repression of the colonies by interstellar superpowers such as the United Americas and the Three World Empires. The disaffected colonies rebelled as a result, demanding independence from the Earth Govermnents and created the Confederacy of Sovereign Nations.
The story begins as the UAS Cyclops colony ship LV-124 sets out to colonise the planet, but the situation is complicated when terrorists from a guerrilla group take control of the ship. They are not the only ones dominating the ship, however, as it is revealed that the ship is carrying a mysterious cargo. In no time, all hell breaks loose as deadly and alien organisms from the cosmos are released in the cargo. The survivors must gather what strength and survival skills they have left and get off the ship, but with no one to rescue them and swarms of alien insects closing in on them, they must find a way out. Their only hope is to reach the escape pods alive.
History Summary[]
In 2120, humanity's expansion into space continues, and a colonial expedition is launched to colonise the planet LV-124, located in the Core Systems, part of the Sol Sector. The expedition will be led by the UAS Cyclops spacecraft, carrying 3,000 colonists and a crew of 20. The Kane family - Edward, Elizabeth, Sonja and Charlie Kane - are one of the colonizing families who join the expedition in the hope of a better life.
Also on board are scientists from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, including Dr. Samuel Nolan, Dr. Rex Baxter and Dr. Ariel Nakamura, the company's synthetic android Edgar, and two private security force officers, Ronald Stepford and Blake Kostersky. The ship is piloted by Captain and Colonial Commissioner, Warden Francis O'Brien. The crew is carrying a mysterious cargo, which later turns out to contain particularly dangerous biological weapons and alien beings.
Events take a dramatic turn when Miller Zep Broderick - a wanted terrorist traveling under a pseudonym who is a colonial marine veteran - and his crew mutiny on board. Miller's henchmen, including Walter, an undercover terrorist second-in-command, Roys, a private security officer, Scott, an engineer, Gibson, the copilot and Arden the technician, forcibly take over the ship. Miller's ideological and revolutionary goal is to liberate the colonial settlers from the oppression of the United Americas and the Three World Empire, who hold them under a totalitarian capitalist rule. The rebellion and actions begin brutally when the Millers kill most of the security personnel and take the expedition members hostage.
As the situation deteriorates, Captain O'Brien secretly activates a secret shipment of Weyland-Yutani, containing bio-weapons such as the extremely dangerous Pathogen, and deadly Neomorphs and Xenomorphs. This unleashes a hell of horrors on the ship, forcing everyone to fight to survive the attack.
The scientists, the Kane family and the security officers, along with a handful of survivors, desperately try to escape the increasingly chaotic situation. Meanwhile, Miller and his Nationalist rebels are preparing to exact their own justice, defying the great powers of humanity and attempting to free the colonies from the grip of the capitalist system.
