Calliope is a female engineer who had a brief conflict with the Weyland-Yutani Corporation while heading to planet 4. She possessed notable feminine features, and was relatively large. Calliope was described as calm, but seemed terrified by something. The engineer was a partner of another of her species called Nerph'ur, who died in combat recently.

Calliope was a calm and cautious individual, she recognized threats and knew how to deal with them as necessary. She was able to be diplomatic with the members of Weyland Yutani, offering them peace when they refused to attack her. Despite being brave, she appears fearful of Rakkhar, who seems determined to hunt her down. ; enough for Calliope to try to escape to her home planet even at the risk of facing an entire fleet from Weyland Yutani.
